Ayurvedic approaches can help control myopia. A case study with a female child patient, 14 years old, with complaints of defective vision for distance in both eyes for 2 months. The patient visited OPD of Shalakyatantra IPGT & RA Jamnagar for treatment.
The patient was treated with Nasya and Tarpana (Netra Tarpana) in combination with internal medicine.
Nasya and Tarpana with internal medicine had shown significant improvement in decreasing the patient’s spectacle power. This case study indicates the effectiveness of Ayurveda in Myopia.
