Golden Latte
Golden Latte has a centuries-old tradition in Ayurvedic teaching. The drink is not only very quick and easy to prepare, but also incredibly healthy. Turmeric is a versatile spice that is full of antioxidants and can, among other things, strengthen the immune system. It also has anti-inflammatory properties. Turmeric is a real powerhouse, which becomes a very special treat with this recipe!
Ingredients for 1 Serving

Turmeric powder

1 inch stick
Cinnamon

1 inch long
Cardamom

2 big pinches
Nutmeg

Star anise

250 ml
Cow milk or nut milk

100 ml
Water

1 tbsp
Palm sugar

1 big pinch
Black pepper

Cooking Time8 – 10 min
Preparation

Crush all the spices in pestle and mortar or in a coffee grinder.

Heat the water, add the spices, cover the lid and bring to a boil. Turn the flame to low, add the milk and turmeric and keep mixing with a whisk until the mixture starts to boil again. Add the palm sugar and simmer for 1 minute.

Filter and enjoy
Notes
Great to have in the evening around 4 pm or if you are not feeling hungry for dinner but want to fill up your stomach at dinner time, a good satisfying substitute.
