Oat Porridge
Oat Porridge is a classic breakfast that is enjoyed all over the world. This is because porridge is not only very quick and easy to prepare, but also delicious and healthy. We have given the classic porridge recipe an ayurvedic twist. The result is an extremely nutritious breakfast that keeps you full for a long time and gives you the energy you need to start the day well.
Ingredients for 1 Serving

¼ cup
Rolled Oats

2 tbsp
Coconut cream

¼ cup
Cow milk or nut milk

¾ cup
Water
-
1 tsp
Chia seeds
-
1 tsp
Walnuts chopped

1 tbsp
Palm sugar or honey

¼ tsp
Cinnamon powder

Cooking Time10 min
Preparation

In a pot add the oats and the water and cook on a medium flame for 5 minutes.

Add the coconut milk and nut milk or cow’s milk and palm sugar and cook for another 2 minutes. If it’s too thick add a little water.

Turn off the flame, add chia seeds and walnuts, and mix well. If using honey just add it when the heat has cooled down and ready to eat

For Kapha, skip cow milk or nut milk.
