Yellow Dosa
Yellow Dosa is originally a South Indian dish that is served for breakfast with chutney and sambar. It is a healthy meal option due to its high nutritional value, low-fat content, and easy digestibility.

Ingredients for 4 – 5 Servings

Uncooked White Rice

1/2 cup
Toor daal

1/2 cup
Split Yellow Peas

1/2 cup
Mung beans

1/2 cup
Urad daal

1 tsp
Turmeric Powder

1 tsp
Sea Salt

3 stalks
Curry Leaves

Cilantro

Preparation

Wash the white rice, toor daal, split yellow pea, mung beans and urad daal

Soak overnight in 6 cups of fresh water

On the following morning, blend the mixture with some of the water used for soaking until you get a pancake-like batter. Add more water if necessary during blending

Chop all the herbs (curry leaves, cilantro, parsley) and add to the batter together with the turmeric powder. Mix well

Heat a crepe pan until it is very hot. Pour 1/2 cup of the batter into the middle of the pan. Use the back of a spoon and quickly spread the batter in circular motions until you get a thin crepe

Cover with a lid and cook for 1 – 2 minutes

Remove the lid and drizzle 1/2 tsp of ghee or coconut oil over the dosa

Flip the dosa and let it cook for another 30 seconds. Enjoy it with your favorite chutney
